At the inclusive equestrian sports and riding therapy center Berlin-Karlshorst (RBO), you can feel it immediately: the charisma of the horses. The animals help children in particular to open up to their environment and their fellow human beings. And they strengthen both self-esteem and social skills. This is why we support curative education work with a school class at the RBO. Six pupils from the Nils Holgersson School learn regularly <\/span> get to know new learning and experience spaces outside the classroom. <\/span><\/p>\n

The children react positively to the fresh air, the smell of the stable and the soft fur of the animals. Even children with autism open up. Overall, working with the horses has a unifying effect and promotes both individual development and group dynamics. <\/span><\/p>\n

At the RBO, we also support hippotherapy for a boy who suffers from damage to his central nervous system. The therapy promotes his motor development and balance. In addition, working with the horses gives him a sense of security and joy. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
