Horses can help with therapy.
They can help children and young people.

Therapy means help and care.
Therapy is for people who are sick or who feel bad.

Horses can help with therapy.
They can help children and young people. Therapy means help and care.
Therapy helps people learn, heal and grow.
Therapy with horses is called hippotherapy.

There is a hippotherapy centre.
The centre is in Berlin.
The name of the centre is RBO.
People can ride horses there.
They can also care for horses there.

They help people at RBO.
They teach people.
They help people to feel better.
They help each person grow and learn.
The people can have a better life.
The horses help in this work.

The horses there are gentle.
They are calm.
You can feel that.
The horses help you feel calm too.

Children learn lots in horse therapy.

The children learn that they can do things.
That makes them feel good.
Then they want to do more.
The children learn empathy.
They learn about feelings.
Empathy means understanding how other people feel.
It helps people be kind.

Horse therapy is good in lots of ways:

  • You get fresh air.
  • You can do exercise.
  • You can stroke the horses.

„For many children, the contact with the horses is a moment of calm, concentration and genuine trust.“
