Our partners
People with whom we do good
Together with our partners, we want to
make the world a better place.
As a charitable foundation, we provide one thing above all: support.
The Futurestories Foundation does not implement its own projects. Instead, we provide financial donations to support other charitable organisations, foundations and their projects.
We follow three criteria to ensure that the Futurestories Foundation’s funding has the maximum impact and achieves the best possible results. Partnerships and projects must:
- have a measurable impact
- have a long-term and sustainable effect (ESG)
- operate in a professional and transparent manner
We maintain a trusting relationship with all our partners. We do more than just pay lip service to transparency; we conduct regular project visits and write reports to ensure that transparency is an integral aspect of all the work we support.
Writing Futurestories with our partners is about creating a better future. Our stories are centred on humanity, sustainability and progress – and they encourage others to do good as well.
Greenpeace
Greenpeace was founded in 1971. The non-profit organisation is active in 55 countries around the world and works for an ecological and peaceful future.
Projects
Vital for the future of our planet
On the banks of the Amazon, deep in the rainforest, indigenous peoples and local communities have lived in close contact with nature for generations.
Loki Schmidt Foundation
The foundation protects nature in Hamburg and throughout Germany by working to preserve rare plants and animals and to safeguard habitats. Its approach also includes purchasing land to provide long-term protection for moors, which are enormously important carbon reservoirs.
Projects
The world’s most effective carbon reservoirs
Around 95 per cent of moorlands in Germany are considered to be severely impaired or destroyed. This is a serious problem, because moors are a habitat for many plant and animal species.
